2026/2027 Calendar

  • Aug 28-30 Students arrive in Abbotsford
  • Aug 31 - Sept 3 Orientation - Click here for details
  • Sept 8 First day of classes Semester 1
  • Sept 17 January 2027 Extension Survey begins.  Due Sept 24
  • Sept 23,24,28,29 Welcome lunch for International Students.  (Each day at a different school)
  • Sept 25 Non-Instructional Day:  Post Secondary Information Session for International Students
  • Sept 30 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
  • Oct 12 Thanksgiving Day
  • Oct 14 Follow up meeting for new International Student parents living in Abbotsford
  • Oct 21/22 Parent / Guardian - Teacher conferences.  Early dismissal
  • Oct 22 Extension Payment Due Date

  • May 25 International Students Year End Celebration Registration.  Due June 4
  • May 26,27,28,31 Farewell lunches for International Students (Each day at a different school)
  • June 11 International Students Year End Celebration Dinner
  • June 29 Last day of classes Semester 2, Report Cards
  • June 30 Last day of the program.  Students must depart on or before this day.  After June 30 the District no longer provides homestay support, custodianship or medical insurance.
