Secondary Schools
Students between the ages of 14 and 18 can improve their English and study a wide variety of academic and elective subjects alongside Canadian students. Please note students cannot be turning 19 while studying in our program
Secondary School Facts:
- Each school year is split into two semesters, one starting in September and one in February (students can begin in either semester)
- Students choose four subjects per semester and attend each of these courses every day Course Selection Guide
- Each class is taught by a teacher who specializes in the subject, and each block is studied with a different group of students
- Students can also choose to enroll in one of Abbotsford’s Specialty Programs.
It is possible to graduate from our program, learn how to get a British Columbia Certificate of Graduation (Dogwood Diploma).

We also host a few International Students each year at Rick Hansen Secondary, the Abbotsford School of Integrated Arts and Abbotsford Traditional Secondary School.
