Secondary Schools

Students between the ages of 14 and 18 can improve their English and study a wide variety of academic and elective subjects alongside Canadian students. Please note students cannot be turning 19 while studying in our program

Secondary School Facts:

  • Each school year is split into two semesters, one starting in September and one in February (students can begin in either semester)
  • Students choose four subjects per semester and attend each of these courses every day Course Selection Guide
  • Each class is taught by a teacher who specializes in the subject, and each block is studied with a different group of students 
  • Students can also choose to enroll in one of Abbotsford’s Specialty Programs.

It is possible to graduate from our program, learn how to get a British Columbia Certificate of Graduation (Dogwood Diploma).

Course Planning Guides

Each of our schools has a course guide with details of course offerings and content.

We also host a few International Students each year at Rick Hansen Secondary, the Abbotsford School of Integrated Arts and Abbotsford Traditional Secondary School.  Space is limited at these schools, please contact our office if you are interested in learning more about applying to these three schools.
