Our mild climate and valley location allow us to be active outdoors year round.  We hope students will get outside and try something new...

 

Hiking 

Abbotsford is surrounded by mountains, rivers and lakes, making it an ideal place for hiking.  There are more than 70km of easy urban trails throughout the city, and more challenging hikes nearby.

All Weather Amusement Centre

Rain or shine, Castle Fun Park is a great place to race friends in the outdoor GoKarts, play a round of indoor / outdoor minigolf, take a swing at the golf simulator or batting practice cage, find your way through the laser maze....  

Cultus Lake Water Park

Cultus Lake is where to go when the weather gets hot.  Ride waterslides, cool off in the pools, soak up the sun or relax in the shade

Cultus Lake Adventure Park

Cultus Lake Adventure Park  has more than 16 rides and attractions for the whole family, including Adventure golf, and a number of family rides as well as exciting rides for thrill seekers.  All guests to the park are welcomed to enter the park for free, stroll through and enjoy the many sights and sounds surrounding them.

Skateboard Parks

Abbotsford has two skate parks, McMillan Youth Park has a 2300m² street scape - style skate park which provides fun and challenging opportunities for a broad range of skating styles and ability levels. There is also a smaller 370m² hybrid bowl park located between Mouat High School and Colleen and Gordie Howe Middle School. 

Fishing

From small rainbow trout to hard fighting salmon and giant sturgeon, there are many fishing options nearby

Whitewater Rafting

The Canadian Whitewater Kayaking team practices nearby in the valley's fast flowing rivers.  Professionally guided tours take students safely down the river
