I was very nervous coming here at first since this was a big step, ultimately, it was one of the best decisions I ever made. My host family was very welcoming and friendly. I was there with two other international students that I became great friends with. In my time here I did many field trips with the school and my host family such as skiing, hiking, paintballing, snowshoeing, and camping. The school offers a wide range of different subjects. Many weren’t even offered in my home country such as Metalworks or Robotics and provided a great experience and a lot of fun. The town might appear small, but there are lots of things to do and many shops to get whatever you need. You can walk most places or take the bus. The friendships and experiences made this one of the most memorable times of my life.
