"I never considered any of the big cities because I wanted to go to a small town experience something different from what I had in Brazil wherein I lived in a big city. I also thought that being in a small town would allow me to know and interact with the Canadian people more easily than if I were to go to a big city. So, going to Abbotsford, I thought, would mean that I would speak more English, I would listen to more English, and I would really get to know about what a Canadian life is."
