Michael from China,

I've learned a lot in high schools, like improving my English skills and talking with my friends, also my school provided many field trips every month for the student to travel around in Vancouver.

I came to Canada in grade 11, so it's already been two years for me. It's a totally different and fresh environment when the first time I came here, culture shock and human being are the huge challenges to me. But now, when I'm looking back that seems all the things are just tiny and dissolved out. I've learned a lot in high schools, like improving my English skills and talking with my friends, also my school WJ Mouat provided many field trips every month for the student to travel around in Vancouver. I will not be surprised if we will see the history of each place, because we have already been to. My homestay is also very kind to me, they've owned a trailer at a ranch down to the states, and we planned to go camping every single week, we always sitting around and talking about our future. I got the Academy Honor Award in grade 10 at Shenzhen High school and Effort Honour Roll Certificate in grade 11 at Mouat Secondary. Lastly, I will be attended to UBC for my Post-Secondary, and I will transfer into either Commerce or Computer Engineering program.

Post-secondary plans

Before I graduating from high school, I've been applied to SFU, UFV, UBC, and Waterloo these four options for my Post-Secondary. After that, I've got accepted by UBC as the Arts program, in this summer, I will keep studying on Commerce and Computer Engineering relevant knowledge, and strived for transferring to either these programs in the second year.
