The chance to study in Canada, and my time here for the last two years, showed me how diverse, unexpected, and exciting life can be. I love the ways of studying, in which students are encouraged to learn themselves from research and lab experiments instead of worksheets and textbook assignments. Teachers, my International Assistants and my homestay family are very supportive and thoughtful. They helped me a lot to adapt to the new environment and to overcome the barrier of language.

Accomplishments

Honour roll in every semester, Top student in grade 11 Math Program (RHSS), School champion and Certificate of Distinction in Fermat competition (2018), BC K-12 international student ambassador scholarship (2017-2018), Certificate of Achievement in Young Writers Division – Creative Writing Contest (2018), School Intramural Badminton champion (girls doubles - 2018). I plan to study Engineering undergraduate degree, then finish a Finance Master degree. My long-term goal is to immigrate to Canada.

I applied to the faculties of Engineering at five universities around Canada and until now, I have gotten accepted by University of Alberta, Ryerson, McMaster, Waterloo and Simon Fraser. I am considering between Simon Fraser, which offers me $5000 of scholarship and University of Alberta, which offers me $13500 of scholarship for first year.
