Middle Schools
Students between the ages of 11 and 13 can learn English as a second language while studying Canadian curriculum at an Abbotsford, BC middle school. Middle school consists of Grades 6, 7 and 8.

- Middle schools help students transition from elementary school to secondary school
- Like secondary schools, middle schools are well equipped and offer a variety of courses. Some courses (like music, art, technology...) are taught by teachers who specialize in each subject area
- Unlike secondary schools where each class is a different group of students, students stay together in a same group (called a "pod") throughout the year
- Middle schools offer a wide variety of sporting activities and clubs. Some of them even have Sport Academies for soccer and ice-hockey, competitive band and drumline programs
