Because of this international student program, I met a good host family who patiently taught me English and took me to experience some novel activities. For me, they are my second home. I feel very grateful to my host family and Abbotsford International Department.

Now it is my turn to return a favor to everyone. I would like to make use of what I have experienced so far in the future and say "Thank you!" to those who have helped me over this international program.
Woo Jungmin from Korea
Abbotsford's International program made me start challenging myself and realizing there's nothing I can't achieve if I put in a lot of effort. I think I have made lots of unforgettable memories in Abbotsford. The diversity of courses was what I loved the most about studying in Canada. I had lots of choices in electives, which means I had huge opportunities to find my interest.
MiJoo from Korea
Although I enjoyed the courses I took, I worried a lot about being behind in studying in Canada as I started in grade 11. However, there was a lot of support from teachers, friends, and the community. The endless support I have received from the community is what led me to the student I am today, and will always motivate me to strive toward making a difference in my community.
Pin Chau from Taiwan
The Chinese proverb had it right, they said: "Having read thousands of books is nothing comparable to having travelled thousands of miles" and regardless of my passion for reading, the journey I went through and the experience I gained in the four years of studying in Abbotsford is truly priceless.
Chweh Jiwon from Korea
Exposing myself to an entirely different culture was a difficult decision. However, I do not and will not regret it as it was one of the best decisions I made in my life. Canada became my second home, and even if I have to return to Korea, I will never forget how happy I was in Canada.
Kim Dongwan from Korea
The learning environment here in Canada was great. The teachers and many different choice of classes really provided me with a lot of opportunities to grow. To start with, the teachers here in Canada are very generous. I personally think that teachers, who have taught many different students with different culture makes them more experienced themselves, making them more of an expert in teaching various types of students. Different choices of classes were also a merit. Students who are interested in arts can take art classes, and students who are going into sciences can take many different science classes in specific.
Kim Hyunje from Korea
Abbotsford School District allowed me to discover my full potential and provided me with a great opportunity to be involved in various activities. I truly appreciate everyone who assisted me through my high school career.

Bi Tianhao from China
After coming to Canada, I begin to prefer outdoor activities, like mountain climbing, cycling, skiing, and other activities. The biggest reason behind this is that I have a particularly friendly home. Finally, I had the pleasure to meet Rebecca Lin, she is a super nice teacher, she noticed our mood and our life style. When our feel upset, she usually help us to solve the problem.
